Summary:
The Diet Technician provides quality nutrition care to our residents under the supervision of the Director, Nutritional Services.
He or she assists in identifying resident needs and participates with the interdisciplinary team to develop the Care Plan.
Compiles and evaluates essential data in the preparation of Nutritional Assessments and Care Planning.
Evaluates residents at nutritional risk.
May assist in the preparation and distribution of resident and non- resident meals.

Minimum:
AAS from an accredited college or university LICENSE:
Preferred:
Registered (or registration eligible) Diet Technician with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK
Experience:
Minimum:
Experience in diet therapy and food service management in a health care facility.
Preferred:
Long Term Care food service and/or diet therapy experience SKILLS:
Minimum:
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Computer literacy.
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
